Butt-Weld End Caps (16W) provide a permanent, sanitary method for sealing the end of stainless steel process lines. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel and polished to a 32Ra sanitary finish on both the ID and OD, these dome-style end caps deliver a clean, crevice-free closure suitable for hygienic piping systems in food, beverage, dairy, brewery, cosmetic, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical applications.

Designed to be welded directly to sanitary tubing or weld fittings, the 16W dome cap creates a smooth, rigid termination point—ideal for capping unused ports, standpipes, instrumentation tees, or line extensions. Standard wall thicknesses are matched to tube OD to ensure proper strength and compatibility within sanitary piping systems.
