Butt-Weld 45° Elbows (2WK – Special) provide a smooth, permanent transition for directional changes in welded stainless steel process piping. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel and polished to a 32Ra sanitary finish on both the ID and OD, these elbows are produced to the same dimensional and material standards as traditional sanitary weld fittings. Because this Special-series product is not laser-marked with size or alloy identifiers, it is not classified as 3-A certified, though it maintains equivalent hygienic performance in appropriate applications. For installations requiring a fully 3-A certified fitting, please see our 3-A Certified 1.5" OD Butt-Weld 45° Elbow (2WK).
These elbows are well-suited for general sanitary processing, equipment fabrication, and OEM builds where 3-A marking requirements are not mandatory. The polished interior ensures efficient cleanability and a crevice-free flow path, supporting high-purity performance in food, beverage, brewery, cosmetic, and light pharmaceutical environments.

Applications & Compatibility
Ideal for OEMs, system builders, and maintenance teams needing a hygienic 45° welded elbow where formal 3-A certification is not required. Compatible with standard sanitary tubing and weld fittings from leading brands, supporting CIP operations and general product transfer lines.
Quality & Material Verification
All Special-series fittings undergo in-house Positive Material Identification (PMI) using the SciAps X-550 handheld XRF spectrometer to verify alloy chemistry and ensure full material traceability.
